GENERAL LABORER

Summary

Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction warehouse sites. Fast-paced working conditions requiring moving of heavy materials, bending, and standing for long periods of time. Utilization of hand and power tools of all types will be required. Collect construction trash and transport it to the dumpster for disposal and general cleaning. Perform other job duties as requested to support business operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Model professional behavior always.
• Report to work as scheduled, on time, and prepared to work.
• Must have reliable transportation for local projects.
• Execute work to setup warehouse processing systems in a safe, efficient, and quality manner
• Work flexible schedule that may include overtime, nights, and weekends.
• Observe safety and security procedures as applicable and report potentially unsafe conditions to management.
• Wear personnel protective equipment (PPE) always.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
• Adhere to company safety, travel, and lodging policy.
• High availability to travel. Up to 100% travel required.

Qualifications

• Have a high school diploma or equivalency
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to read, write, listen, and speak fluent English
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the assignment.
• Work effectively in a team environment and provide support and assistance where needed.
• Commitment to excellence and high standards.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Frequently required to walk a long distance and stand for long periods of time.
• Frequently required to bend, stoop, or kneel.
• Frequently required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds or more on occasion.
• Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts.
• May be exposed to extreme heat or cold depending on the location and phase of the project
• High availability to travel. Up to 100% travel required.
