This is a student position responsible for meeting the daily emotional and physical needs of children in an assigned classroom. Works under close supervision, with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Job Duties 1. Greets parents and gathers information about the child .. Supports teachers as necessary and provides children with tasks, supplies, projects, food, and/or snacks as needed .. Tends to childrens needs and interacts with them .. May launder childrens clothing as needed .. Cleans, sanitizes, and disinfects toys and equipment as needed .. Provides activities for children (i.e., outside play, walks, trips.)7.
