Production Director - Townsquare Media

Townsquare Media is seeking a full-time production director/producer in Lufkin, TX. The ideal candidate will have radio/audio production experience.

We are looking for someone who is compelled to write entertaining commercial copy that tells a story and delivers results for our clients. We aren't looking for spots with catchphrases and clichés. Our branding philosophy doesn't include phrases like “Summer is right around the corner” or “For all your _____ needs.”

This person will collaborate with the traffic department to meet deadlines and ensure paperwork accuracy. You will work with sales executives to produce the best creative within set deadlines, oversee and coach voice talent to ensure high standards, and collaborate with clients in-studio on copywriting and voice coaching. You may also work with advertising agencies as a recording studio resource, including potential ISDN sessions for clients nationwide.

You'll have access to Adobe Audition, Zetta Automation, and ample production resources. You'll work in a high-performing, market-leading media environment. Your primary focus will be serving our commercial clients and overseeing audio production. Digital video skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve our commercial clients and oversee audio production
• Coordinate with the traffic department to meet deadlines and ensure paperwork accuracy
• Work with sales to produce creative content within deadlines
• Oversee voice talent, ensuring high-quality VO work and coaching as needed
• Collaborate with clients on copywriting and voice coaching in-studio
• Manage all commercial audio for terrestrial and online broadcasts in partnership with traffic & continuity teams
• Assist with uploading various audio content (commercials, music, promos)
• Organize and respond to audio requests from sales teams
• Perform other programming duties as assigned
• Work with advertising agencies on recording sessions, including ISDN sessions for nationwide clients

Qualifications

• Digital video skills (a plus, not required)
• Expertise in audio production and editing
• Proficiency with Zetta/Nexgen, Audition, Vegas, or Pro Tools
• Copywriting experience
• Radio experience (a plus but not required)
• WideOrbit experience (preferred but not required)
