Child and Family Guidance Center is hiring a senior Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Child and Family Guidance Center is a community leader since 1896, Child & Family Guidance Center takes a comprehensive approach to treating individuals with complex mental and behavioral health challenges throughout seven North Texas Counties- Dallas, Collin, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro. Job Summary:

The Chief Executive Officer is the overall leader of the organization and oversees day-to-day operations. Establish the vision and strategies for the organization that are executed through efforts of staff and volunteers. Leverages the power of relationships and networks within internal and external environments. Possesses a broad scope and knowledge of business acumen, management and financial skills. Effectively utilizes resources for creating, scaling and leveraging strategies. Responsible for supervising the Senior Leadership team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs under the guidance of the Board of Directors to align goals and governance of the organization.
  • Ensures the agency's compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards.
  • Responsible for achieving strategic goals of the organization.
  • Responsible for identifying and cultivating key relationships with community partners.
  • Direct the organization in staff leadership, personnel development, and building teams.
  • Responsible for coordinating and aligning Child and Family Guidance Center strategic direction in areas of organizational effectiveness, resource development and staff alignment.
  • Responsible for implementing goals for Senior Leadership team.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization.
  • Ensure the organization makes consistent and timely progress in achieving its mission and programmatic impact.
  • Oversee the organization's financial structure.
  • Responsible for monitoring, accessing and reviewing budget compliance, budgeting, financial risks and revenue growth.
  • Works with the Board of Directors and other senior leaders to establish long-range goals, plans, policies and procedures.
  • Provide regular reports to the Board that highlight organizational strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
  • Assists in the recruitment and orientation of new Board members.
  • Negotiates with other companies regarding actions such as mergers, acquisitions, or joint ventures.
  • Responsible for contract compliance and reporting requirements, legal case management and partnering with contract attorneys
  • Represent the organization externally by participating in public speaking engagements, maintaining a robust social media presence, and regularly participating in and attending community events.
  • Managing and supporting staff with healthy, supportive culture.
  • Promoting a safe, positive, inclusive, respectful working environment

Job Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (M.B.A.) in Business Administration, Accounting or Management
  • Non-profit, public and corporate management experience
  • Experience for 7-10 years in Senior Leadership role
  • Experience in developing partnerships, strategic planning, building teams, conflict management and financial skills.

  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws related to mental health industry and non-profit sector
  • Ability to command confidence, respect and trust of all stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen and software technological skills
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and actualize financial statements and reports

Physical Requirements:

  • Physical demands of the job, including bending, stooping, sitting, lifting and driving.
