As our nationwide growth accelerates, our Business Systems (Salesforce) team in Dallas, TX plays a key role in driving forward our mission of Bringing Happiness to Every Home by delivering system changes that enhance and maintain our CRM, ERP, call center, iPaaS, Marketing Automation, and CPQ products to deliver value to the business.

As a Director of Technical Product at West Shore Home, you will contribute to this mission by driving innovation in our systems by keeping the business informed about new technologies, tools, and methods to maintain West Shore Home's position as the most technologically advanced business in our industry.

The Director of Technical Product reports to the Vice President of Business Systems (Salesforce) and oversees the Solutioning, Architecture, Project Management, Quality Assurance, and Development functions of the Business Systems team.

What You'll Contribute

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Ensure the Product team owns and drives the successful and timely completion of our highest priority Business Systems (Salesforce) initiatives by owning and constantly evolving the processes, tools, roles, and structure of the Product teams.
  • Defines the roles and structure of a team to support the various product functions as the team grows for business analysis, product management, project management, architecture, platform specialties, and other roles that will support the success of the team.
  • Provides Agile Product Management strategy and mentorship for the Business Systems (Salesforce) team and defines and implements the tools and processes used to support intake, project and task management, DevOps, Quality Assurance, and stakeholder communication.
  • Develop and measure goals and metrics that align your team's efforts with the goals of the business, and ensure they are meeting quality and cost requirements, and that forecast and measure product team capacity.
  • Oversee and coordinate the portfolio of product roadmaps for the Business Systems (Salesforce) Product teams owned by the Product Managers.
  • Document and ensure Product team's compliance with company policies and procedures for security, access control, and change control.

What It Takes to Succeed

At West Shore Home, we are Default Aggressive towards our goals and take Extreme Ownership of our results. We'll provide you with the training and tools to set you up for success, and we hope that you'll bring:

  • Active Salesforce Administrator Certification required, additional Salesforce certifications are a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce, CPQ, ERP, and call center systems, and associated tools.
  • 5+ years of working knowledge of all areas of a business (Sales, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Marketing, Human Resources).
  • 2+ years as a functional manager in product management, system administration, and development.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage the staffing plan for the growing Product team and ensures that we hire and retain top-level talent for the Business Systems (Salesforce) Product team.
  • Ability to drive the team's alignment with the changing needs of the business.
