We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Parks Laborer / Landscaper to assist with the maintenance and beautification of public parks, grounds, and recreational facilities. This position involves physical outdoor labor, landscaping duties, and general grounds keeping work in all weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain park grounds including mowing, trimming, edging, and weeding
• Plant, water, prune, and care for trees, flowers, shrubs, and turf
• Operate landscaping tools and equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hedge clippers
• Clean and maintain park facilities, restrooms, pavilions, and playgrounds
• Collect and dispose of litter and debris from grounds and trails
• Assist in irrigation system maintenance and repairs
• Perform basic repairs to park equipment, fences, picnic tables, and signage
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Work as part of a team to complete seasonal landscaping projects or special events setup/cleanup
• Report any safety hazards, vandalism, or needed repairs to supervisor

• Previous landscaping or outdoor labor experience a plus
• Ability to perform heavy physical labor in various weather conditions
• Familiarity with lawn care tools and basic equipment maintenance
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow instructions
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends or holidays as needed
