Responsible for performing the final assembly operations of electricity transformers according to prescribed standard methods and procedures. Job Responsibilities - Perform tasks across various work centers, including: Tank-up, casing, small parts, vacuum chamber, cover bander, palletizing, and final assembly. - Attach and install critical component parts and sub-assemblies to transformer tanks (e.g., leads, bushings, brackets, fuses, switches, nameplates, arrestors, labels, stencils, bands, etc.). - Anchor core/coil assemblies into tanks, ensuring precision and quality. - Execute various hand assembly, fitting, and adjusting operations with meticulous attention to detail. - Retrieve, assemble, and securely attach covers, maintaining consistent standards. - Conduct temperature checks, install and inspect components, initiate and troubleshoot leak checks, repair leaking units, and perform fluid checks to ensure proper oil use. - Load, operate, and unload the vacuum system efficiently. -...2nd Shift, Assembler, Operations
