Position Description:

We are seeking a skilled BI Developer with a proven track record and expertise in data visualization tools, namely Power BI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that transform data into informative visuals and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and Maintain BI Solutions: Design, build, and deploy BI solutions using Power BI and other tools.
2. Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources, including SQL databases, Excel, and cloud-based systems.
3. Create Reports and Dashboards: Develop interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards to visualize key business metrics and trends.
4. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and deliver accurate, actionable reports.
5. Data Modeling: Build and refine data models to support reporting solutions.
6. Performance Optimization: Regularly update and optimize dashboards to ensure performance and scalability.
7. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to data integration, performance tuning, and report accessibility.
8. Documentation: Document processes and methodologies used in developing BI solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

1. Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with Power BI, including DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query/SQL, as well as a solid understanding of database/programming principles and best practices.
2. Data Integration: Skilled in integrating data from multiple sources.
3. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
4. Data Visualization: Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
5. Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or QlikView.
2. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
3. Familiarity with Power BI Service and Power BI Report Server.
4. Certification in Power BI or related BI tools.
