About the Role
Freddy's Shift Managers assist the Assistant and General Manager in the daily operations of our restaurants, providing leadership and motivating team members to meet operational goals. You'll control labor and food costs, build relationships with guests, handle guest issues and serve as a model of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Teach and practice Freddy's standards of hospitality, quality and cleanliness
Lead by example; be organized and vocal, with strong timemanagement skills
Demonstrate a willingness to learn and accept coaching/constructive criticism
Practice situational management and maintain a sense of urgency at all times
Correct operational mistakes with the goal of satisfying the guest
Spend the majority of time on the restaurant floor (not in the office)
Assess teammember performance, coach and develop them, and build a positive team culture
Reduce waste, manage labor and improve overall efficiency
Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility and equipment
Foster strong vendor relations and ensure product execution is on point
Required Skills & Experience
Natural leadership skills with a selfstarting personality and even disposition
Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Strong communication skills with guests and team members
Ability to use a pointofsale system
Willingness to jump in and assist coworkers; teamplayer mentality
Physical Requirements
Availability to work a variety of hours (days, nights and weekends) within the local metro area
Ability to stand or walk for up to a 10hour shift and lift up to 40 lbs
Willingness to bend, stoop and occasionally use a ladder
