Accounts & Audit Senior – Sutton, Surrey

Clark Wood is currently working with a well-established and respected firm of Chartered Accountants in Sutton , who are looking for an experienced Accounts & Audit Senior to join their growing team.

This is a varied role offering a mix of audit and accounts work, ideal for a technically strong and client-focused professional seeking career progression within a supportive and dynamic environment.

The Role:

Leading and assisting on audit assignments from planning to completion for a diverse client portfolio

Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders

Supervising and mentoring junior staff on audit and accounts assignments

Liaising directly with clients and reporting to managers/partners on progress and technical issues

Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards (FRS 102, ISA)

Using cloud software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and audit software such as CaseWare

About You:

At least 3 years' experience in a UK practice environment, with audit exposure

Strong knowledge of audit procedures and UK accounting standards

Excellent communication and client relationship skills

Ability to manage assignments and meet deadlines effectively
