Overview

We are seeking a Trade Show Program Manager for the Smart Infrastructure business unit. This role oversees process, tools and strategies for trade shows, coordinates cross-functional teams, and ensures alignment between events and sales objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee process, tools and strategies for trade shows for the Smart Infrastructure business unit.
  • Lead planning and execution of trade show programs, from small 10x10 booths to large shows with budgets in the million-dollar range.
  • Ensure seamless processes and that tools are used consistently across groups; connect events to the sales team (Salesforce familiarity preferred).
  • Travel regularly across the United States to attend and set up trade shows; occasionally weekends; anticipate 2 shows per month lasting a few days.
  • Coordinate branding and marketing assets; may need to physically set up booths for smaller events; gather leads and analyze show effectiveness (experience with SurveyMonkey or MS Forms is a plus).
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders during complex shows; demonstrate project management capabilities.
  • Understand how to connect a brand to a trade show and drive lead generation.

Location & Travel

The role is managed by a California-based manager but is open to candidates in any time zone. Ideally centrally located near a major airport (examples: Texas, Chicago, Denver). Will travel to trade shows across the country; travel time is planned in advance; sometimes 2 shows per month; occasional weekend travel; some cities with local offices include Chicago and Atlanta.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning and executing trade shows and events.
  • Strong project management skills; ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn Salesforce; ability to connect events to the sales process.
  • Trade show experience and ability to gather leads; branding awareness is a plus.
  • Not industry-specific; ability to adapt to various event formats and audiences.
