• Seeding, mowing, fertilizing, aerating, watering, and weeding lawns
• Planting and caring for trees, shrubs, and flowers
• Inspecting and repairing playground equipment, picnic tables, benches, and other park amenities
• Ensuring athletic fields are ready for games and practices
• Spreading top soil, laying sod, planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and trees
• Cutting grass, raking, aerating, dethatching, fertilizing, and watering lawns, weeding gardens, pruning shrubs and trees
• Repairing and painting benches, tables, guardrail, and assisting in repair of roads, walks, building, performing minor and routine painting, cleaning, sweeping and weekly up-keeping of Parks office
• Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment as needed using appropriate tools.
