We Are Growing Again! Live Oak Environmental, Huntington, TX, is seeking a Safety Manager to join our team with a yearly salary range of $80,000 - $95,000. Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned. • Implements, manages, and maintains all elements of a comprehensive Health and Safety Program. Continuously improve employee/facility safety and ensure compliance with OSHA / FMCSA/ State regulations • Measures and drives continuous improvement of comprehensive Safety Programs through participation/review of information collected through Internal Audits; Accident / Injury / Incident investigations • Manage property damage for each location • Performs Safety audits on each site quarterly • Works closely with operations on events and accidents • DOT Rules and Regulations • DOT Maintenance of records Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. **** Education and Experience • Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or in lieu of a degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited). (Preferred not required) • Experience: Four (4) years of relevant work experience Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, or Other Requirements • None required Other Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities Required • Must be proficient with MS Office applications with expertise in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. SharePoint expertise is also preferred • Must have excellent organization and both verbal/written communication skills • Must be able to manage conflict as it relates to safety or environmental situations • Must be willing/able to travel up to all sites in Texas and Louisiana Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000 yearly
