Position: Auditor
Location: Remote (Tysons Corner)

Summary:
The Auditor will work within a team consulting and auditing both financials and contracts for a government agency. Will review individual contracts to ensure the awardee can meet the requirements and standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform Government audit of contracts for financial assistance to Government Auditing Standards.
- Review and evaluate financial risk, financial reporting and accounting transactions.
- Processes include controls related to federal entities.
- Review and evaluate complex federal financial statements.
- Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to government.
- Prepare and provide recommendations to audited reports.
- Escalate identified issues and propose viable solutions.
- Assist with cost benefit analysis and reporting.
- Develop and enhance management reporting.
- Assist and drive efficiency initiatives.
- Identify and participate in cost cutting initiatives.
- Lead integration of capital program with future acquisitions.
- Identify performance improvement opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- 3 + years of experience.
- Previous Audit Experience with DCAA policies and procedures.
