Police - Police Recruit

The City of Nacogdoches is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Police Department as Recruits within the Patrol Division.

The Role

As a Police Recruit, you will perform essential law enforcement duties, including patrolling assigned areas, investigating criminal offenses and responding to calls for assistance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful attendance at a police academy, passing the TCOLE exam and completing field training.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Texas Driver License
• Ability to obtain TCOLE basic peace officer certification.
• Pass a written examination and physical agility test.
• Excellent communication skills and 20/20 corrected vision.
