Description:
As the Material Distribution Handler Specialist, you will be responsible for performing manual and clerical shipping and/or receiving duties.
This position is onsite full-time at our Lufkin, TX Operations facility, which has approximately 500 employees, who perform circuit card assembly, wire harness assembly and final assembly, integration and testing for several missile programs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Material Distribution Handler Specialist, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
• Use hand trucks, forklifts, and other devices
• Maintaining data on the computer
• Receive incoming materials or prepare materials for shipment
• Verify quantity, weight, and conformance of materials
• Prepare records of materials shipped and bills of lading; routes materials to destinations
• May lay out, fabricate, and assemble nonstandard shipping crates and boxes
• Prepare parts and tooling for special shipment
• Use ERP systems to complete warehouse transactions.
• Utilize standard work instructions for the shipping of hardware
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience with manual and clerical material handling
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• System application processes; database experience
• Knowledge and prior use of forklifts or hand trucks
• Warehouse experience, trained to material handling
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
